About Us
Whispering Waters Condominium is a 55+ waterfront community located across the street from Tampa Bay, just 3/4 mile north of downtown Saint Petersburg, Florida. While built over 60 years ago, the condominium’s structures are structurally sound, and most units have been updated to reflect more current architectural tastes. All units have screened lanais, and some units have washers and dryers within. The community has free access to our laundry facilities. Most units have an enclosed single-car garage, which also gives each owner extra storage space.
Restaurants, museums, and a movie theater are just a short walk away. While the bustling nightlife of St. Pete is close by, at night you can enjoy the sound of crickets in our neighborhood. Across the street is a 1.5-mile stretch of parks that run along Tampa Bay, from Vinoy Park in the south to Flora Wylie Park at the north end. In-between are the North Shore Aquatic Center, Gizella Kopsick Palm Arboretum, and the North Shore tennis courts. The gulf beaches are only 10 miles (ca. 16 km) to the west, so they are just a short drive away. Pickleball courts are 1.5 miles (2.41 km) away at Crescent Lake Park.
